Not Just an
Ordinary Love Story
Tysia & Ricky first met in July 2023. We always introduce the way we met in two stories. First and foremost: we found each other; but with a plot twist: the modern way. We met online, but quickly both found out we were meant for each other.
Our first date was on a hot summer day, July 9th, 2023. We agreed to meet in a cute Ravioli place Ricky spent hours looking for to impress Tysia. Ricky chose the right table with the best view, which he confirmed when he first saw her. The night went on just like in a fairytale, with the excitement increasing every minute until the end, when Ricky already suggested to plan the second date.
Already 1 day later, they met for another date, and shortly after that another date. Summer went by fast until late August, when they went for a weekend getaway to the northern lake area, Mazuria. It was as clear as day that Ricky had something planned... During a relaxing sunset on a hammock, Ricky took out a letter and a box (it's not what you think it is); it was a promise ring and a speech, in which he would promise her that he would propose in a year's time.
Time went by fast, and during their first trip together to Ricky's motherland, the sunny and rainy Costa Rica, he took her on crazy adventures north to south, east to west. Until finally, in the cloudy forest of Monteverde, he proposed in a very calm but rainy night on August 2nd, 2024.
Since then, they've been counting the days for this moment.
